Patent Radar Privacy Policy

Patent Radar collects only the information needed to deliver patent-filing alerts and weekly landscape digests.

Information We Process

- Email addresses for alert delivery.

- Watchlist inputs such as assignee slugs, keywords, and CPC classes.

- Public patent metadata, abstracts, CPC codes, and AI-generated classifications.

- Operational logs for delivery, cost tracking, and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

We use subscription data to fetch relevant patent publications, classify filings, send alerts, create digests, and enforce plan limits and cost guardrails. We do not sell subscriber email addresses or watchlists.

Third-Party Processors

Patent Radar may send patent titles, abstracts, CPC codes, and limited metadata to Anthropic for classification or summarization when an API key is configured. Patent Radar may send recipient email addresses and message content to Resend for delivery when an API key is configured. Without keys, local stub clients are used.

Retention

Subscription records, filings, classifications, alert events, and cost ledger entries are stored in SQLite until an operator deletes them. Demo seed data is clearly marked with [DEMO].
